Hana Hou Juice Co. began in 2010 in a small kitchen beneath the Ko‘olau mountains of Kāne‘ohe Bay. What started as a deeply personal passion for healing through nutrition eventually evolved into a boutique wellness company centered around one belief:
People thrive when healthy living becomes easier, more beautiful, and deeply supported.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked privately with clients navigating chronic inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, autoimmune conditions, hormone imbalances, digestive disorders, fatigue, stress, and recovery from serious illness. Again and again, I found that even the best nutrition protocols often failed for one simple reason:
Modern life leaves very little room for consistent practice.
People are overwhelmed, exhausted, overworked, undernourished, and disconnected from the foundational rituals that help the body recover and regulate itself. Hana Hou was created to bridge that gap.
Today, Hana Hou Juice Co. is no longer simply a juice company. It is a highly personalized concierge wellness experience designed to help support clients through thoughtfully prepared meals, cold-pressed juices, functional tonics, clinical nutrition guidance, and supportive lifestyle structure.
Our programs are intentionally limited in size so we can maintain a deeper level of personalization and care.

Every juice, tonic, meal, and ingredient is selected with intention.

While many of our juices naturally contain the equivalent of several servings of vegetables and fruit, our philosophy has evolved beyond simply “drinking your greens.” The goal is not restriction or trend dieting — it is helping clients build sustainable metabolic resilience, energy, clarity, and ease through supportive daily nutrition.
From Los Angeles Back to Hawai‘i
In 2011, I moved to Los Angeles and opened one of the first organic juice, tonic, and freshly-pressed botanical cocktail bars on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City — years before adaptogens and non-alcoholic wellness beverages became mainstream.
Inside a small 900-square-foot space, we blended together:
- herbalism,
- nutrition,
- apothecary craft,
- functional tonics,
- biodynamic produce,
- Taoist and Ayurvedic herbs,
- and over 100 handcrafted botanical drinks.
After several years, I returned home to Hawai‘i with a deeper understanding of what people were truly searching for:
not just healthy products — but support, ritual, energy, connection, and a sustainable way to care for themselves in the middle of busy lives.
That understanding became the foundation of Hana Hou today.
